Thank you for researching Grace concerning your wedding plans. We would be honored to serve in one of the most meaning-filled moments of your life.

You should know that we take seriously the role we play in this important process. Marriage is a gift from God. Jesus taught His disciples about marriage and in other places in the New Testament, marriage is described as a way for Christians to model the love Jesus has for His Church. This faithful lifetime commitment as husband and wife is one of the most important ways we can respond to the relationship we have with our Lord Jesus Christ.



Grace of Huntington Beach uses a dynamic and powerful program to assist engaged couples as they prepare for a life together in marriage. This program, called The Prepare and Enrich Marriage Counseling Program, involves the engaged couple in four counseling sessions. At the conclusion, the couple will meet with the pastor to finalize the details of the wedding ceremony.

It is important for you to know that each couple must work closely with our wedding hostess. They assist the Pastors and are the primary contact persons for working out all details of this service. We encourage you to consider having our videographer produce your wedding video or DVD - he is very discrete and the audio comes directly from our sound system to your tape. Our Hope Hall building and our kitchen makes hosting your wedding reception close and easy.

A Christian Wedding is a worship service. It is not a show or stage production. We have great flexibility in meeting your specific needs as a couple to make your wedding a reflection of your unique love. However, we do not lose sight of the greater truth that we come together to worship the One who is the author of your love, Jesus Christ.

You may wish to discuss any questions or other issues personally before making your decision to allow us to assist you with your wedding. Please fill out a wedding application and call the church office to make an initial appointment. We look forward to hearing from you and getting to know you personally.
