Job Title: Worship Leader

Family Info: I have two wonderful parents who have helped shape me into who I am and a brother who's been playing drums with me for so long that we finish each other's cadences.

How did you come to Grace?
I was contacted by Grace to fill the position of organist when GLORY (8:45am) was being energized in August 2005. I was promised that when the second service JOURNEY (10:30am) took shape, I could play a role in it. Little did I know that the role would be worship leader!

What is your role at Grace?
I'm responsible for leading worship at JOURNEY (10:30am) and the Saturday Night Service (6pm). This involves selecting the songs from week to week, organizing and scheduling our incredible band (with Kjersti's intregal help!), conducting rehearsals, and ultimately leading the congregation in glorifying God. During the GLORY (8:45am) service, I get to play the organ and piano and rock out with our talented choir.

What is the best part about your role?
Getting to work with absolutely stellar musicians who have such a heart for God and dedicate their time and energy to Grace. They make my job a piece of cake.

My brother, the show Arrested Development

What makes you cry?
Seeing other people in genuine pain, and pretty much anything when I've gotten less than
four hours' sleep

Galatians 6:17: "From now on, don't let anyone trouble me. For I bear on my body the scars that show I belong to Jesus."

What is a future goal to achieve within the next five years?
Finish school, get a teaching position and a house (keep your fingers crossed).
