Mothers of Preschoolers

Need to connect with other moms?
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) can connect you with a terrific group of women. Mothers have children ages 0-6 and connect weekly. Childcare is available on a first come first serve basis through our loving MOPPETS program. The nursery spaces fill fastest, so don't delay! Our childcare MOPPETS Team Leader is Shannon Contreras (shan6676@msn.com).

What is MOPS?
MOPS is an international program (www.mops.org) designed for every mom - urban moms, suburban moms, stay-at-home moms, working moms, single moms, married moms - with children under school age. The women connect by sharing a meal, hearing an educational and/or inspirational speaker, participating in a creative activity and group table discussion. Discussions are on parenting, marriage, organization, home tips, finances, etc... Meet new friends and learn that other moms are going through the same things - you're really not crazy!



When does MOPS meet?
Grace Lutheran Church currently offers MOPS on Thursdays from 9:15 AM -11:45 AM.
Childcare is provided at 9 AM. The program consists of three, eight week trimesters.
An eight week course will begin in Fall (September), Winter (January) and Spring (April).

During the summer, MOPS is on break. However, we have monthly opportunities to connect at the park, beach and other activities to get together with old friends and make new ones. Look for a group of women at the playgrounds and come hang out with us! Contact us for a flyer of dates and places.

Cost: $50 (mother only), $80 (mother with 1 child), $90 (mother with 2 or more children).
