Spiritual Gifts

What are Spiritual Gifts?

  • Spiritual Gifts are special abilities, given by the Holy Spirit, to every believer
  • Every believer has at least one gift
  • Knowing our gifts helps us to know "where" to serve
  • Scripture warns us "not to be ignorant of spiritual gifts"
  • The use of gifts in our churches is vital for effective ministry

What if I am comfortable in my knowledge of gifts?

  • Your next step would be the "Application of Spiritual Gifts" course

  • Taught by Linda Woodbury and members of the Prayer Ministry
  • Inventory your current involvement, utilizing your gifts in ministry
  • Explore new environments God desires you to use your gifts

How can I continue to grow in my understanding and use of Gifts?

God desires that we bear fruit, more fruit and much fruit and that such fruit could remain. He's speaking of the fruit that saves and brings eternal life!

  • Taught in either a retreat format or in corporate prayer settings and/or teaching times within the context of prayer schools

"I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit."
John 15: 1-2, 5, 8
