MISSIONS & OUTREACH
GLC supports the following missionary and outreach organizations. In addition, we also serve our local community by providing those in need with food from our own Food Pantry.
The Food Pantry is available every Wednesday at the church office from 10:00am - 2:00pm.
If you would like to come along side of Grace and support our Missions Ministry, below is a list of local, national, and international organizations that we are working with to ensure that food, aid, and medical supplies are delivered to those who need it.
Lee & Katie Humerian
The Humerians serve together in the Ukraine on the schools highway and also help organize and lead grief and trauma healing retreats for Ukrainian church leaders, pastors, and their families. In addition, Lee leads the ministry specialties team and Katie serves in HR. Find out more about the Humerians by clicking the link below.
Nadiya, her husband Artem, and their two children live in Lviv and serve at Christ Fellowship church. Nadiya and Artem are involved in teenage and youth ministry in their church, and their home is always a place of youth ministry. Since the beginning of the war, Nadiya has been involved in sending medical assistance to people in the active war zone. With the help of their church, Josiah Venture, and church communities, she helps find and send medicine, hemostatic agents, and bandages to those in need. During the first months of the war, Artem transported humanitarian goods from their church to areas in Ukraine that were under fire. Find out more about the Vorobyov's by clinking the link below.
Each year, MAF provides aviation services to more than 400 mission agencies, churches, and humanitarian organizations around the world. Without MAF, some of these organizations would be unable to reach the people they serve. Through these partnerships, MAF connects isolated people with vital services and goods while sharing the love of Christ in a tangible way. GLC offers our support to Dave and Gerd LePoidevin, who serve with Mission Aviation Fellowship at the Nampula base in Mozambique, Africa. From its small beginning in 1999, the team has grown to include three dedicated and gifted families, with two more coming.
Young Life is a volunteer-driven, domestic and international missionary organization. Young Life was founded in 1941 by Jim Rayburn, and it now reaches over 1 million students every year in the U.S. and internationally. "We believe that the most life changing way to impact a youth’s life is to share the love and hope of Christ with them. Tangibly, this is accomplished by our various programs and initiatives specific to the community of Oak View. Our programs have only grown as the years go by, as well as our fundraising and support base."
